GSEB SSC 10th Result 2021 @ gseb.org –  State Board of Education has declared the result of Std. 10 as per mass promotion. For the first time in the history of the board, more than 8 lakh 57 thousand regular students have passed this year. 3 lakh 76 thousand more students have passed since last year. This year more than 17 thousand students have got A-1 grade. The result of Std. 10 has been prepared by the schools by calculating the total marks on the basis of Std. 9 first semester and second semester examination as well as Std. 10 first semester examination and unit test.

According to this result, the total number of regular students this year is 8 lakh 57 thousand 204 and all of them have been declared pass as per the government’s mass promotion policy. In which there are 4 lakh 90 thousand 482 male students and 3 lakh 66 thousand 722 female students.

This year only one grade up to D has been declared as not a single student has failed due to mass promotion. And E as well as E1 grades have not been declared. D grade shows the range from 33 to 40 marks while students from 21 to 32 marks are declared in E1 grade every year who are considered as failing. But this year all the students are 33 marks or more.

Last year there were only 1 thousand 671 students in A1 grade while this year there are 17 thousand 186 students. Last year there were 23 thousand 754 students in A2 grade, 58 thousand 128 in B-11 and 10 lakh 5 thousand 971 students in B-2.

Std 10th result 2021

The government had earlier said to mention mass promotion in LC in the rules of mass promotion but now the government has changed the decision after heavy controversy. Mass promotion will no longer be written in the LC given to standard 10 students and only words that complete secondary education will be written instead.

Even if a student goes to Std. 11 in the same school after Std. 10, as per the rules, LC has to be given to all the students. The government has now reversed its decision following suggestions from academics that the issue was causing controversy and the mention of mass promotion was hurting students.

With the approval of the government, the board has issued a new circular to all DEOs on the issue, instructing them to indicate the completion of secondary education in the Living Certificate-LC in the Remarks box. While in the school leaving certificate the date of leaving school has to be shown as 31-9-2021.
